Cards on the Table

Cards on the Table

Four tables, four games, and a house dealer who’ll teach you the rules before the first hand goes down.

At the Tables

How We Run the Tables

We run five hundred and crib from early evening, moving on to canasta and euchre once the dinner crowd’s cleared through.

Saturday’s kept for a poker table that never asks for a buy-in — chips only, and whoever’s dealing keeps things moving.

Every table here is dealt by a person, every chip is worth points and nothing else, and every player’s 18 or over before they sit down.

A hand of crib laid out mid-count on green felt.

Early Tables

Five hundred and crib, usually the first to fill each evening.

Later Tables

Canasta and euchre, once the dinner crowd’s cleared through.

Saturday Poker

No buy-in, chips only, and a house dealer running the box.

Table Questions

A Few Things People Ask

Do we need to book a table ahead?

For a big group, yes — for one or two of us, we can usually find room on the night.

Is there a house dealer at every table?

Most evenings, yes, though quieter tables sometimes run themselves once everyone knows the game.

Can we ask to be taught a game on the spot?

Always — just ask whoever’s behind the counter and they’ll find you a minute before the tables fill.
